Mornflake Cereals Die Cast Trojan Van
Mornflake Cereals asked if we could produce a scale “Die Cast” replica Trojan Van based on the original vehicle used in the 1950’s to deliver Mornflake products to the retail trade.
We purchased a 1950’s Dinky Toy Trojan Van on Ebay, found a die cast model manufacturer in Hong Kong and having ensured that all design, copyright and brand name legal issues were covered, had a replica made. Artwork for the livery of the van and presentation box was produced by Mornflake’s agency. We monitored development and production closely from concept to finished product which was delivered on time. |

3. Hargreaves Lansdown Leather Briefcase.
When Peter Hargreaves left Whitbread to set up Hargreaves Lansdown Asset Management 30 years ago, his colleagues bought him a farewell gift of a leather briefcase. One day at a planning meeting to discuss future promotional gift requirements, he produced his treasured briefcase. It was in a sorry state after many years of use with the stitching coming apart and a broken zip. He asked if we could get something similar made. The answer as usual was ‘yes’ but of course we needed the briefcase in order for the factory in China to replicate it. With some trepidation he entrusted us with it and some weeks later after checking and approving swatches of leather and drawings of the briefcase, manufacture commenced and 2,000 were delivered.
The briefcases were every bit as good as the original - this was confirmed because the factory had completely refurbished the original and returned it in pristine condition, so we were able to reunite it with its owner who was suitably delighted.

4. Reprint of the Daily Mirror VE –Day Tuesday May 8th 1945
Millennium Direct, the Grey Market direct marketing agency, were planning a campaign for their client NPI for equity release schemes for homeowners over 70. They hit upon the idea of a replica of a newspaper from VE day 1945. We sourced an original of the Daily Mirror from that date and obtained permission from Mirror Group Newspapers to reproduce it. The replicas were printed on similar paper to the original, put into special presentation boxes and the campaign was a roaring success.
